when your business is right you love telling people about it…
I have been helping women start businesses since J-Lo and Ben Affleck got engaged (the first time) and the feedback from clients is always the same,
‘I love my business so much now that I love telling people about it’.
I take women from worried that they don’t have what it takes to energised and confident, running a business they know inside out. I love seeing them getting visible and talking about their business with ease and excitement.
If you are reading this and thinking you’ve heard it all before, that’s understandable. There are some energy-sapping common experiences in start-up land that can really drag you down. Coaching relationships and online programmes that don’t deliver and punchy marketing that tells you there is a formula you could apply to your business (there isn’t), sound familiar? This stuff is pretty standard right now and it is unsettling but the good news is that together we can get you out of this cycle fast.
I’m known for the energy I bring to my work. My clients report big shifts almost straight away that for you can look like this…
Clarity regarding what you want to do and for whom.
Purpose, connecting you to your ‘why’ so that it can drive you forward.
Confidence that the knowledge gaps you were hiding have gone.
Agency to make decisions you have been putting off.
Ease, the sense that you are free to express yourself in your business.
HOW am i different?
‘If you want to know how to do something, find someone who has done it and ask them what they did.’
In a market full of big claims, Social media fame and marketing funnels it is easy to mistake marketing flair for business knowledge. They might be able to sell a car but I can take the car apart, put it back together and make it drive faster.
I founded my first business 20 years ago, a food brand that I took from concept to Waitrose in 18 months. Then I started a beer company, launching at Soho House and going from concept to house lager at The Ritz Hotel in the same time frame. I am a powerMBA graduate, held a guest lectureship in business and branding at UCL and have coached some of the most successful women entrepreneurs of their generation.
The Dots named me ‘1 of 100 Women Changing the Creative Industries’. I was shortlisted for Female Entrepreneur of the Year by Investor Allstars, I won a Mercury Award for Best Onboard Food, I won the Grazia / O2 Award for Best Food & Drink Startup, The Guardian named me in their ‘Future 500’ list. My podcast won the International Women in Podcasting awards for Entrepreneurial Inspiration and was shortlisted for Best Business Podcast at the British Podcast Awards.
It’s a lot of information I know and there is more but all you really need to know is that my career and experience are unparalleled.

Maybe you have a business idea that you believe in but you don’t know how to scope or market test. I started my career selling instant porridge pots to my friends and when I approached industry experts asking them how to get them into Waitrose they all said the same thing, ‘You can’t’.
I didn’t listen, I found a way and now I’m here to help you find yours.
