The 8 different ways I make money
I think it's important when we look at other women living and working on their own terms to be realistic about how we get there. I have a mature career behind me through which I have developed several income streams. That means even though I am a solo parent with no outside contributions financially I am able to work school hours only which is a great freedom. Here are the 8 ways I make money, some regular some infrequent.
💰 1: I pay myself a from REALWORK
✍🏼 2: I get paid to write for Courier
🎤 3: I get paid speaking gigs
👩🏽💻 4: I sell online courses
📱 5: I do paid partnerships
🤔 6: I get paid to think about creative problems and give my opinion.
💸 7: I own shares in companies I have helped start and occasionally sell them.
⚡ 8: I get paid to refer clients to businesses I like or to match startups up with investors.
Having multiple income streams is very reassuring with the economy changing, it means if one or two go over the side I can still keep the lights on. It's not easy to go from a standing start to 8 but it's worth adding more in if you can. There really is more than one way to skin a cat.
