this Is what i used to say about reels…

‘Pointing is so awkward, I can’t do it.’

‘I’m too old to learn how to do this,’

‘Instagram is turning into TikTok, it’s not for me any more.’

‘No one will watch business content on Reels, surely?’

‘Lip synching makes me cringe and people only want Reels with lip synching.’

As you can hear, I had a terrible attitude. I felt like all the hard work I had done on IG building an audience using wordy posts and lives was going down the plughole. No-one was seeing my content as IG prioritised Reels, I even watched YouTube videos to find out if I had been ‘shadow banned’. It felt unfair and I really resented it, complained to everyone who would listen about it and decided to concentrate on other channels as IG wasn’t for me any more.

Then something happened…

WHAT CHANGED?

This is O.G. REALWORKer Sara Arkle. Sara has a 15 year career in marketing, but what you really need to know about her is that she LOVES Reels, she lives and breathes them. Sara persuaded me to open my mind and try Reels. Because we had worked together before I trusted her and followed her guidance.

Sara showed me how I could do Reels my way and took me from a total non-believer to a confident Reel-er in record time.

✔️ This sprint is for you if you want to learn how to use Reels to raise the visibility of your business but don’t want to invest in a long course or spend money on one-to-one learning right now.

✔️ It’s for you if you want targeted suggestions that you can action in real time with the support of a small group of REALWORKers in a private Slack channel.

How will it work?

The Reels Sprint is for current or new REALWORK members only and will take place in a private Slack channel within REALWORK. The Sprint will start on Monday January 9th and run until Tuesday 31st.

✔️ The sprint will take place for just under a month but all materials will be posted in the Slack channel so that if you take time off during the month you can revisit in your own time.

✔️ Suggestions will be posted in the Sprint Channel every weekday morning starting with a briefing from Sara on Day 01 containing her top Do’s and Don’ts.

✔️ With the encouragement and accountability of the group you will be encouraged to post at least 2 Reels a week.

✔️ You will be shown a methodology for tracking your success.

✔️ Although we are not running content on weekend days if you are online catching up at weekends and posting Sara or Fleur will be available to support you.

THIS IS NOT A POD, it’s NOT about all posting and liking each other’s Reels to trick the algorithm, it’s about using Sara’s tried and tested strategy to create a sustainable way of becoming visible and connected using Reels.

what does it cost?

The cost is £39 and the time investment needed is 10-30 mins each week day you participate during the sprint. Spaces are limited, payment is in full now and the Sprint begins on Monday January 16th and lasts 4 days. Sprint with us and do the work in real-time or jog at the back, note down all the content and work on it walking, dressed as a banana, the channel will stay open for a further month after the sprint closes.
