speaking on podcasts is great for business
I love being a guest on podcasts and always say yes when I'm asked. The unedited, conversational nature of them allows for real connection with your audience and they are a great way to let people know about your business. Here's why:
1: When you give an interview to a journalist what is printed can be the puff piece you were hoping for but can also be a version of what you said that you don't recognise. With podcasts you hold the mic and your story is in your own hands.
2: Podcasts have regular listeners who trust the host so even before you've said anything some of that rubs off on you, you have a warm audience.
3: Instead of worrying about cramming your offer and your values into a 2 min slot on a radio broadcast a podcast has room for you to relax and find your stride, listeners will hear how much you know what you are talking about.
