‘I wish I’d had this support in the early days’
Yesterday Bonnie Chung, founder of Asian food brand @misotasty joined us for a REALWORKshop and talked about starting a business from scratch to raising £2m to fund the brand build out in supermarkets.
Bonnie's entrepreneurial career started with her taking a job as my intern at Grasshopper porridge, a very happy time that she used as a springboard to launch her own successful career. So yes, we go way back and it was great to see her.
When I emailed her afterwards to pass on thanks (and of course book her for the podcast so you can all hear her amazing story) she said she thought REALWORK was amazing and that she wished she had had this kind of support in her early days.
Praise like that means so much.
