REALWORK only has 2 rules…
1: Observe the privacy policy and 2: No memes…It's no secret that I don't like rules much. 'Who made the rule? who does the rule serve? who does the rule keep out?' All good questions.
When I founded REALWORK I hired @decanddash_ingrid to help me understand my legal obligations; the duty of care that I have when women pay to join. I want to create a community of mutual support and self-regulation, not just take the ticket money and hand you the rules.
We have a team now and our primary purpose is to create this culture of equity and democracy and we discuss our progress every week. As I write this, conversations are going on in Slack that demonstrate that we are getting this right and I'm proud and grateful for that.
